MONTESSORI'S GONES

The school, located at 21 rue André Bonin for the kindergarten and 7 avenue de Birmingham 69004 for the elementary school, is a private, independent, secular and non-contractual school, not affiliated with any political or religious movement.

Ideally located at the exit of the Croix-Rousse tunnel on the Saône side, the school is easily accessible from the1st and4th arrondissements, as well as from Vaise and the 6th.

It is registered with the town hall, the academic director of national education services, the public prosecutor and the prefect. It does not have a contract with the French Ministry of Education, which means that its staff are not paid by the State, and it receives no subsidies.

The 3/6 and 6/12 year-old classes are equipped with a complete range of materials, in perfect condition, from a supplier approved by the Association Montessori International (AMI).

Children are welcomed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 8:15 and 8:45, and are discharged at 16:30.

Extra-curricular activities are offered from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

I'm both director and educator (ages 3-6 and 6-12) for French-speaking children. An English-speaking educator has joined the school to offer English immersion to the children.

The school's legal status is that of a SARL (limited liability company).
